Kale

Kalenjins have been in government for atleast 45yrs since independence. The only time they were partially in opposition is during Kibaki's 10yr tenure.

But let's tell each other the truth. Moi was in government for 24yrs but his Baringo backyard is the poorest and unsafest place in Kenya. It's the only place where poverty levels are so high until people feed on wild fruits and hunt snakes at this era. People are starving and butchering each other like chicken. They only good in cattle rustling, they have never learnt how to depend on themselves and stop those stone age behaviors all these days 'they' were in power.

Towns like Eldoret couldn't be of existence if it wasn't the efforts of Kikuyu traders who invested so much while doing maize and other crops farming in the area. What was started by outsiders and inherited by the locals as the main economic activity is now being killed by the same political leaders the locals are praising.

Moi never empowered Kalenjins and Ruto is now killing the little the community acquired in the  few years Kibaki was in power. Maize farming which has been the economic backbone of the region is now on its knees. Blind sycophants are busy supporting the corrupt thugs who are stealing and subjecting them into more suffering.

The Sudis, Murkomens, Cheruyots and Ruto's of this world are the biggest enemies of the Kalenjin nation. Those few illiterate and uniformed sycophants from the region who has takes Ruto's 2022 bid as life and death should tell us what government has done for them for the last 40 or so years, absolutely nothing.

This same Ruto is not even sharing what he steals at the expense of his tribe with these Kalenjins. Tell me how many churches from the area Ruto has shared his loot with, tell me any major development project Ruto has initiated in Kalenjin land except his own multi billion palace in Sugoi, if at all it benefits the community. The only dams which were to be the Jubilee projects in the area have been swallowed by these same criminals in the name of leaders.

It's time the Kalenjin nation open their eyes and realize that it's their own who have subjected them into abject poverty and slavery.

Retired but not tired militia,
Generali Osumo Jnr.
